Hello visitors to Savannah! Let me tell you a little about myself. I was born and raised here in Savannah, Georgia, and I'm probably one of the few locals you will still find downtown. I am a historian with multiple degrees from the University of Georgia, and I have always loved learning about the history of my beautiful city while getting lost in the beautiful streets.

For me, the best part of learning anything is the act of sharing it with others. Any of my friends will tell you that I am a natural storyteller and that my enthusiasm for anything is contagious. I decided to start Live Oak Historic Tours to give myself and my friends an opportunity to share our beautiful city with visitors, and to give you the perspective of locals who truly care for the community here.
